Second-rate satire, sarcasm, and stupidity about Second City news, weather, and traffic from a guy who repeats the same joke over and over again until someone laughs.
ok ok ok, we get it. damn the weather forcasters. If you had seen the movie the weatherman (and I would suggest you NOT do that)you would see that it is acceptable to throw half drunk slushies, frosties or big gulps at your favorite weather personality in case they get the forcast wrong, so get your sugar laden drink out and find Tom Skilling wandering around Michigan Avenue.
maybe this is my way of throwing slushies! anyway, my main criticism isn't that they're wrong ... I'm fine with that. the problem I have is all the damned hype ... it's the only F-ing thing they could talk about for the last 24 hours. I mean, it's winter, OF COURSE it's going to snow!!!! (Deep breath) Anyway, wasn't the weatherman filmed in Chicago? In that case, I want to see it ...
don't blame me after you leave holding your nose. Yes, it was filmed in Chicago, even the White Hen Pantry on Montrose became the Evanston Snack Shoppe or whatever
First, how lucky are we, the masses, to have this Weather Center working for us! If this snow-event had happened outside of Winter Hiatus, or whatever public schools say these days, we'd have one less eyewitness to report the minute-by-minute forecast!
Second, I kinda liked The Weatherman. It's worth seeing just for the amazing shots of a wintry lakefront, and it's the first time I've seen on film the "breathing" frozen lake...beautiful in person, beautiful on the screen.
