The horror! NIU loses a big game
The Northern Illinois Huskies football team had a chance to go to a bowl game for the second straight year. Unheard of in these parts. But they couldn't hang on to a big lead against the Akron Zips in the fourth quarter. Ouch, this was going to be such a fun post. I was all set to go to the Motor City Bowl game at the end of this month. Now, I need something to do. Any ideas?

what do you expect. maybe you can visit a warm city bowl site intead, as that would make more sense. And anyway, would you really be able to handle two trips to Detroit in one year?
Yeah, I was sitting in this cool bar in the Mission (SF) of an industrial chic feel when I saw the Huskies playing on the TV behind the bar. Surprising to see NIU, aka the University of Northern Illinois, playing. There's always U of I. -Hai
